Monday, July 14


7:08 a.m. Arrest, Brad Hanley, E. 4th St. Boston, motor vehicle stop on Temple St. and Corthell Ave.  Active default warrant, vehicle towed.

11:12 a.m. Party reporting theft of copper at National Grid power plant, Auburn St. during past break in. B.C.I. requested.

12:50 p.m. Caller reporting a squirrel in her house on Dyer Ave. Animal control officer notified.

4:55 p.m. Hanson Police called to report they had received a call about a bike in the area of the railroad tracks on Franklin St. Bike and helmet located but no rider.

5:05 p.m. Caller reporting animal complaint on Pleasant St. Dog has been barking all weekend and is now barking while tied up under the deck. ACO contacted.

5:35 p.m. Motor vehicle stop on Beulah St. Citation issued for expired rejection sticker.

5:45 p.m. Motor vehicle stop, Auburn St. at Carousel Family Fun Center, criminal complaint issued to Nicole Meaden, Concord Ave. Brockton, registration suspended, operating with uninsured motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle.

7:00 p.m. Caller on South Ave. reporting that his landlord is holding his federal economic stimulus check. Spoke to landlord, check will be returned to sender.

7:35 p.m. Caller reporting a girl was assaulted by other girls in the park. BCI requested to Brockton Hospital for pictures. Criminal complaint will be sought.

9:37 p.m., Numerous call reporting a fight at the basketball court in Whitman Park. Kids moved along for the night.

10:24 p.m. Caller reporting suspicious activity near Kelly Market, Plymouth St. Caller reports teenage boy and girl standing in the roadway between Kelly Market and the rotary. Parties were gone on arrival.


Tuesday, July 15


10:25 a.m. Caller reporting larceny, forgery, fraud. Caller reports she had wired $2,500 via money gram to California to purchase a quad. Found out it was a scam and lost her money. Money gram notified called that the money had been picked up in Houston, Texas. Advised party to call the Houston Police.

11:15 a.m. Caller reporting that someone had tried to break into their business, Delgado's Discount Carpet, Bedford St. The front window was broken. BCI notified and en route.

12:16 p.m. Domestic disturbance, South Ave. Verbal argument between girlfriend and boyfriend, Peace restored for now. Party is leaving the property with her children.

12:32 p.m. Domestic disturbance, Raynor Ave. Services rendered.

2:16 p.m. Motor vehicle stop, Franklin St. Observed motorcycle with no registration plate on rear bumper. Operator claimed it was a moped. No operator's license. Speed goes up to 70 m.p.h., hence it is a motorcycle. Vehicle tow requested. Operator cited for unregistered, uninsured motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of motor vehicle.

3:28 p.m. Caller requesting extra patrols behind his plumbing shop due to kids damaging his fence.

5:39 p.m. Vehicle stop on Auburn St., Expired sticker.

6:34 p.m. Vehicle stop on South Ave. Owner cited for expired registration. Vehicle towed.

10:17 p.m. Medical emergency, Auburn St. Unresponsive female party, reportedly had a Fentanyl patch in her mouth and had taken heroin. None found on her person or in the vehicle. Patient transported to hospital by ambulance.


Wednesday, July 16

5:57 a.m. Party in station to report that there has been a scruffy looking man in the Cranberry Rd. neighborhood recently operating a red pickup truck with a green cap. The man has not done anything criminal but has spooked some of the residents in the area. Party requested extra patrols of the area when possible.

5:03 p.m. Medical emergency, Whitman Ave. Request for ambulance for male next door who is out front and having a had time catching his breath. Fire Department transported party to hospital.

5:08 p.m. Criminal complaint issued, Plymouth St. motor vehicle stopped, unregistered, uninsured, registration suspended, subsequent offense.

6:57 p.m. Party called from Whitman Liquors, reported seeing a female who probably stole a pint of alcohol. When she got into her vehicle she reached into her pocketbook, retrieved pint and drank from it. Left north on Rt. 18. Checked north to Abington line, party not located.

11:39 p.m. Motor vehicle stop, South Ave and Day St. Arrested Urbano Nascimento, South Ave,  OUI liquor, 4th offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating motor vehicle with license revoked.  Arrested William Richardson, South Ave., drug possession, Class E


Thursday, July 17


6:00 a.m. Caller, Charles St. reported that her car was broken into overnight. Complaint investigated.

6:43 a.m. Caller in station to report that her car was egged overnight on Commercial St. Report taken.

7:40 a.m. Another call from Commercial St. reporting that car was egged overnight. Report taken.

7:57 a.m. Disturbance reported at Dunkin Donuts, South Ave. Reports of a man swearing at workers. Peace restored.

Man given the word and sent on his way.

1:25 p.m. Caller noticed a small sinkhole in street by Temple St.  while jogging. DPW will repair with cold patch.

2:21 p.m. Caller, Washington St. reporting that two copper downspouts, the lower half, on each front corner of his house were stolen. Window was broken in the garage. Report taken.

4:19 p.m. Party in station to report that a library book worth $700 loaned out by the Smithsonian Institute has not been returned. Renter does not live at address any longer. Previous renter's family contacted. Book and several others to be returned.

5:47 Citation issued, Bedford St. Stopped for expired inspection sticker.

9:19 p.m. Motor vehicle accident, South Ave. and Perry Ave. Caller reported that two vehicles were smashing into each other. Motor vehicle backed into another after operator stepped out when he though he had been struck.

9:25 p.m. Caller reporting animal complaint on Winter St. ACO notified.


Friday, July 18


9:22 a.m. Caller from Lantz Ave. reported that someone entered her motor vehicle during the night, some change was missing. Report taken.

11:06 a.m. Motor vehicle stop, East Ave. Criminal complaint issued for uninsured, unregistered motor vehicle, operating motor vehicle with registration suspended.

11:18 a.m. Call from Burton Ave. Motor vehicle was entered sometime during the night. A 1/2 roll of quarters and a bank book were stolen.

Incident investigated.

11:37 a.m. Caller reporting a disturbance at Dunkin Donuts, South Ave. Customer at drive up window refusing to leave. Peace restored.

11:41 a.m. Caller reporting a medical emergency on South Ave. Female party is having trouble breathing. Fire Department transported party to hospital.

11:57 a.m. Caller reporting numerous cats in the driveway on Joyce Ave. and it appears at least one is dead. ACO notified.

3:19 p.m. Caller reported disturbance on South Ave, two females fighting . Arrest, Letitia Power, Hale St. Bridgewater on WMS warrant. Matron and BCI notified.

4:47 p.m. Caller from Myrtle Ave. reported she left five pieces of furniture in hallway since last Saturday and man was supposed to pick it up. Son called stating furniture is now gown and man who was supposed to pick it up had not come. Stolen were an armoire, bureau, pantry cabinet, shoe rack and antique mirror. Report taken.

6:17 p.m. Arrest, Helen Hite, Myrtle Ave., assault and battery, dangerous weapon. BCI notified for pictures of victim .


Saturday, July 19


8:25 a.m. Caller reporting lights at the intersection of 18 and 27 not working. State notified. Lights repaired.

9:32 a.m. Call from East Bridgewater Police Department to notify of multi-agency pursuit heading northbound on Washington St. toward Whitman. Cruisers advised.

10:30 a.m. Caller reporting another incident at the middle school fields with a portable toilet knocked over. Extra checks of area requested.

2:00 p.m. Caller from Blueberry Path reported that overnight someone removed the gas cap from her silver Jeep Wrangler. This is the second time this has been removed. Not sure if someone is stealing gas. Extra checks of area requested.

2:11 p.m. State police dispatch reports ambulance is responding to a trail behind the high school for a party who crashed his dirt bike. Fire Department requesting med flight. Ambulance transported party to the Brockton Hospital.

6:28 p.m. Caller reporting a smashed windshield at Raynor Ave. BCI requested and will respond. Brandy bottle located in driveway. Bottle collected and sent to BCI for possible prints and to photograph vehicle.

10:16 p.m. Caller reporting fireworks going off in the area of Beulah and Washington St. Cruisers responded, situation solved.

11:23 p.m. Motor vehicle stop, South Ave. and Winter St. Arrest Ryan Tran-Ngoc, Court St. Brockton, possession of Class D drug, Arrest Daniel Colwell, School St. Pembroke, OUI liquor, marked lanes violation.


Sunday, July 20


5:52 a.m. Caller reporting a disturbance on South Ave. Drunk female, mid 20's causing a disturbance. Explained 209A rights. Peace restored.

12:40 p.m. Caller from Essex St. noting that there was some type of plastic around a goose's neck. ACO notified. Goose had tracking device around neck.

1:15 p.m. Motor vehicle stop. Arrest Douglas Sullivan, Arthur Paquin Way, Brockton, fugitive from justice warrant.

5:10 p.m. Motor vehicle stop, School St. , Criminal complaint issued for uninsured, unregistered motor vehicle, operating motor vehicle with suspended license.

Suspicious man on Green Acres appeared on someones deck looking for his dog?! Better not come to my house, or I will send my dog after that creep!
