BELIEVE IT OR NOT: Chris O'Sullivan reads the Whitman Express outside the Ripley's Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Chris is joined by his sons Collin and Aidan.
Call Firefighter Christopher D. Donahue has been certified by the Massachusetts Fire Training Council, an accredited agency of the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications as a Firefighter I/II. The more than 168 hours of training was conducted by the Plymouth County Fire-Rescue Training Association on nights and weekends at various locations around the county, including the Whitman Fire-Rescue drill tower at the DPW yard on Essex Street. The training included live fire training evolutions. Christopher, age 19, has been a member of Whitman Fire-Rescue since December 1, 2006. Christopher is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician. He resides in Whitman; is the son of Daniel and Melissa Donahue and he works fulltime for the family business Four Seasons Power Equipment of Whitman. Chief Tim Travers said “Christopher, because of his enthusiasm, training, and availability has proven to be a valued member of Whitman Fire-Rescue, and hopefully he will move into a fulltime position in the future.”
Susan’s Studio of Dance of Hanson/Brockton is celebrating its 40th anniversary and is searching for all former students to participate in the show to be held the end of June. Rehearsals are starting on Tuesday, May 20 at the Brockton studio.
