Theresa A. (Cunningham) (Bina) Borden, 81, died Sunday in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph L. Bina and William E Borden.

She was born and raised in Boston, daughter of the late George and Edith (Gregory) Cunningham. She also lived in Quincy before becoming a resident of Whitman.

Mrs. Borden worked as a hostess for several years. She was a member of the Holy Ghost Church for the last 20 years.

She enjoyed bingo and traveling.

She leaves her son, Joseph H. Bina and his wife Judith of Hanson; her daughter, Theresa Sullivan of Attleboro; her sister, Dorothy Petrilli of Norwell; her stepsons, Steven Borden of Georgia, John Borden of Florida and William Borden Jr. of East Bridgewater and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Marie E. Bina.

Her services were held on April 23 from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass in the Holy Ghost Church. Burial followed in the Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland.
